Medical Transcriptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform project functions as designated by the medical director and overseen by the Histology Supervisor.
• Projects include those that require knowledge or processes, regulatory requirements, and quality in the Pathology dept.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent and/or required work experience.
• Five years as transcriptionist in a pathology department.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and to be proficient in computer use.
• Must possess the ability to read and transcribe English words and numbers.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Medical transcriptionist: 5 years (Required)
