How you can make a bigger difference :
Join a fun-loving and hard-working Development team as the Director of Individual Giving. This exciting, newly created role will be the staff lead for individual and major gifts at The Jewish Board. Our new Director of Individual Giving will have the opportunity to shape strategy, develop campaigns, and build meaningful philanthropic relationships with major donors.
In partnership with the Chief Development Officer, the Director will be the key staff in identifying, researching, soliciting, and stewarding donors; the Director will also have a portfolio of mid-level and major donors. He / she / they will oversee the acknowledgement and appreciation process, create opportunities for donor education and engagement, and more. The agency and our Board of Trustees is committed to growing Individual Giving in a significant way and the Director of Individual Giving will help chart this course.
Collaborative work is important – and the Director of Individual Giving will frequently partner with colleagues throughout the agency, including others on the Development team, which includes Foundation / Corporate Giving, Special Events, and Volunteer Services.
