Our client, a fashion brand, is seeking a Color Development Assistant to join the team temporarily in New York!
Full-time hours.
Responsibilities :
Manage and organize all paperwork related to color approval.
Perform accurate data entry of color specifications, approvals, and changes into systems.
Utilize Excel to maintain detailed records and generate reports.
Coordinate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely submission and approval of color samples.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve any color-related issues or discrepancies.
Collaborate internally to ensure color accuracy and consistency across product lines.
Monitor and track deadlines for color submissions and approvals, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
Assist in preparing reports and presentations on color trends, approvals, and compliance metrics using Excel and other tools.
Organizing and maintain Color Lab records
Help facilitate color review process for color managers.
Manage email communication with internal and global partners.
Receiving and opening packages, sorting / filing contents.
Requirements :
Proficient using Excel & PLM
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of color theory and its application in apparel design and manufacturing processes.
