What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Creator, Video and Photography position at Fourth Floor?
Our rapidly growing wholesale houseware client, is seeking a creative and dynamic individual to join their team with strong video/photography content experience in the home furnishing space.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit compelling content in engaging and innovative way
- Develop short-form video content
- Produce compelling behind-the-scenes and UGC-style content
- Model and appear on camera when necessary to showcase products in action
- Direct lifestyle shoots, to ensure all elements align with brand aesthetics
- Travel to various locations, including outdoor settings, to shoot lifestyle content
- Stay abreast on trending video styles, soundtracks, and creative formats
- Come up with and deliver campaigns and content themes
- Work closely with the social media and marketing teams
- Edit videos with on-brand graphics, text overlays, and engaging transitions
- Optimize content for different social media platforms
- Maintain an organized library of content assets, raw footage, and edited materials
- Experiment with different visual styles, lighting techniques, and compositions
- Provide creative input on campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand storytelling
- Organize and manage content schedules
- Take full ownership of projects, ensuring content is delivered on time and aligned with brand goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video production and photography, ideally for a consumer brand
- Strong knowledge of social media trends
- Expertise in editing tools (Canva, Capcut, Adobe Suite; Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects) or other industry-standard editing tools
- Comfortable modeling and appearing on camera
- Ability to shoot with camera phone to professional camera equipment
- Ability to direct lifestyle shoots
- Willingness to travel and shoot in outdoor locations
- Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A visual storyteller with keen understanding of social media trends
- A strong eye for design, and a passion for creating content that drives engagement and brand awareness
