What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Associate position at Fourth Floor?
Our client, a children’s apparel manufacturer, is seeking an HR Associate to join their New York City based team!
5 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Director of Human Resources and the HR department by ensuring efficient operation of HR processes and initiatives
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and manage offboarding procedures
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS
- Coordinate new hire orientation
- Create offer letters
- Act as an internal liasion in resolving employee issues, guiding employees to relevant cross-functional teams
- Point of contact for any questions regarding HR policies or procedures
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and distribution of offer letters
- Develop HR reports and analytics pertraining to recruitment, leave of absence, turnover, etc.
- Main point of contact regarding Visa and work permit applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources within a similar wholesale or creative environment
- Strong understanding of HR processes
- Must have experience in ADP Workforce Now
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite andAdobe
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Proactive team player with strong initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
