What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pattern Maker position at Fourth Floor?
Our Los Angeles based apparel client is seeking a Pattern Maker (Gerber) to join on a part-time basis!
This is a temp position that is project -based, about 3 days / week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create digital patterns from hand drawings and / or drapes.
- Maintain accurate yield and measurement specifications for manufacture and costing.
- Participate in development and production fittings when requested.
- Support Tech Design team in communicating fit corrections, with pattern mentorship, for vendors at key points in development process.
- Pattern alterations and grading rules.
- Working with the in-house sample cutters and makers to oversee the completion of high-quality samples.
- Consistent communication with the production team to ensure high-quality fit and finishes and review of pre-production samples.
