HEAD CHEF: FULL TIME POSITION

Oversee the Kitchen in order to provide well balanced, nutritious, and timely food services that align with Camp Fowler's Philosophy

Summer Responsibilities

• Directing the preparation, presentation, and clean up of all meals
• Working with and directing Kitchen Staff and Volunteers
• Maintaining a positive attitude throughout the summer
• Coordinating work efforts with the Assistant Chef to ensure the proper timing of the kitchen and food production
• Assuming primary responsibility over food ordering
• Developing the summer menu in consultation with the Director
• Working with the weekly nurse to ensure proper care of Staff, volunteers, and Campers with Dietary needs and/or restrictions
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of the Kitchen and Dining Hall to ensure that everything is clean and in proper working order

Fall-Spring Responsibilities

• working, designing, and serving meals mainly for small retreat groups (16-30).
• Care and keeping of the Chi Rho House retreat center.
• Serving special groups as needed

Requirements:

Experience in the food industry; SafeServe certification; willingness to work in a camp

and retreat environment.

Benefits:

Salary will be competitive based on experience and training.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
