Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Our ideal associate has experience in personal injury defense litigation. This role requires excellent legal research and drafting skills, as well as proficiency in handling all aspects of litigation including taking and defending depositions; motion practice; arbitrations; mediations; and trials. The Associate Attorney will work independently and closely with senior attorneys on more complex cases.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and client communications.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including gathering evidence and preparing exhibits.
- Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations at mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support in case management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.
Experience
- License to practice law in Pennsylvania.
- Experience in civil defense personal injury litigation preferred.
- Experience taking and defending depositions preferred.
- Trial and arbitration experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal drafting and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and with a team of attorneys and other staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
