Position : Director of Finance
Reports to : Superintendent
Overview : The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall financial management of the district, ensuring fiscal stability and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Working closely with the Superintendent, Board of Education, and district leadership, the Director of Finance develops and oversees the district's financial strategies to align with Fowlerville Community Schools' mission and long-term goals.
Qualifications -
Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Educational Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in school business operations.
- CPA certification, Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) certification, or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) certification.
- Proficiency in school financial accounting systems or related software.
