Front Desk Administrator
OVERVIEW
The Front Desk Administrator fulfills a variety of customer service needs to support the successful operation of Fox Bluff Vacation Cottage and RV Resort. This individual is responsible for guest registrations and reservations using our property management software (PMS) as well as other routine front desk activities.
This is a seasonal position which can start as soon as early-April (and as late as May) and last through early November (or as early as mid-September).
Applicants must commit to work, at a minimum, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
JOB DUTIES
- Greet current/potential resort guests at the front desk in a professional and cheerful manner
- Assist with a seamless check in/check out process, answering guest’s questions and completing reservations
- Participate in campground site inspections to support visual check in/check out
- Provide exceptional customer service both in the office and during site visits
- Assist future guests with reservations via phone and email as well as respond to general inquiries about Fox Bluff
- Build a high-level of proficiency with the reservation system (New Book)
- Use conflict resolution strategies to provide solutions to dissatisfied guests, referring high-level issues to management as needed
- Complete and maintain resort records, reports, and files as required
- Prepare and distribute resort communications to guests as requested by management
- Work closely with other resort staff to ensure the best experience for our guests
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Education
- Prior administrative experience
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance
- Intermediate computer proficiency, with ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, email and internet
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
