What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT BUSINESS ANALYST I position at Fox Communities Credit Union?
We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time IT Business Analyst I based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton! After initial onboarding onsite, this position could have the opportunity for remote work consideration. However, candidates must reside in Wisconsin to be considered.
The IT Business Analyst gathers and analyzes industry, functional, and technical information to help design and support information technology solutions, as a link between people, process, and technology, and serves as the liaison between technology and the business lines regarding new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions. The IT Business Analyst role is responsible for collaborating with all levels of business and information technology teams to perform support, analysis, debugging, configuration, testing, training, documentation, implementation, and maintenance for existing and new technology solutions.
The primary responsibilities of the IT Business Analyst I role include but are not limited to :
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Providing Tier 1 support to ensure system availability and stability, resolving issues escalated from the IT Support Team
- Analyzing business processes and system requirements, translating business needs to technical solutions
- Assessing applications to identify improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and reduce operational cost
- Collaborating with broader IT team to recommend and implement technology solutions, optimizing efficiency and operational costs
- Partnering with leadership to recommend solution designs using existing and new technologies in alignment with the company vision
- Analyzing data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
- Balancing multiple deadlines and prioritizing key deliverables
- Participating in implementation projects in an agile, highly collaborative manner, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality
- Supporting testing and facilitating communication to stakeholders
- Deploying test scripts to refine and maintain software
- Documenting specifications and mapping requirements for workflows, reports, data, and system integrations
- Creating technical documentation to support system configuration and standard operating procedures
- Assisting in preparation of end-user documentation and participating in training as needed
