ABOUT THE ROLE
The Human Resources Generalist assists to facilitate the human resources processes including employee lifecycle, recruitment, employee records, benefits, leave administration, payroll and HRIS administration. Provides administrative support to the Regional Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources function, and company personnel as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that HRIS (Workday) data is complete, accurate and timely
- Identify and resolve any issues with Workday, coordinating with the Information Systems (IS) department as necessary.
- Help ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures as well as with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations including the management of labor law postings and required reporting).
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to evaluate and update job descriptions to align with evolving business requirements.
- Aid in the recruiting/hiring process by sourcing potential candidates, conducting preliminary screenings, setting interviews, reference checks etc.
- Facilitate new employee orientations, onboarding and ensuring all relevant information is updated.
- Confirm that all employment requirements are met, prepare and maintain personnel data and records as necessary via paper, HRIS and/or electronically.
- Manage the I-9 process ensuring that forms are completed accurately and timely, documentation verification, file maintenance and audits as required.
- Act as a liaison between employees and the benefits department to address any inquiries or issues related to employee benefits.
- Support with leave of absence administration including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processing, tracking and disability case management.
- Provide assistance with the performance evaluation process, addressing employee relations matters, and processing terminations.
- Organize various appointments and events, including meetings, interviews, company activities etc.
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, is also required.
QUALIFICATIONS
A college degree is preferred, ideally with a focus on human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years of related experience required.

Salary : $67,000 - $77,000
