Fox Lumber Sales, Inc. is seeking an experienced plant manager for our Spokane Valley, WA location. Candidates will oversee the daily operations of our sawmill/remanufacturing plant. Experience in the timber/lumber industry, managing production, optimizing processes, ensuring the safety of staff, and driving continuous improvement within the facility are a must. Benefits and PTO available after probationary period. Salary starts at $85,000 - negotiable commensurate with proven experience. Relocation assistance possible.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of lumber production, including operations, milling, drying, and finishing processes.
- Monitor and improve production efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate the use of machinery, equipment, and labor resources to maximize output and minimize downtime.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of sawmill operators, maintenance personnel, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and identify areas for improvement to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor the quality of lumber products, ensuring they meet company specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of sawmill equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
