ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
PHOENIX, ARIZONA

Duties & Responsibilities
- Enter corporate invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Process weekly check runs
- Ensure the processing of payments is timely and accurate.
- Follow up on all outstanding vendor and payable issues until they are resolved.
- Work together with the other company teams to implement efficiencies in the Accounts Payable process.
- Process incoming and outgoing W9’s
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure transactions follow company policies and are properly reflected on the financial statements.
- Responsible for 1099 compliance
- Maintaint and distribute incoming AP emails
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years accounts payable experience
- 1 years high volume environment experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
- Key characteristics: continuous improvement, excellent time management skills, sense of urgency, detail oriented.
