Construction Litigation Associate - Multiple Offices
Blue Bell, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Princeton, NJ; Warrington, PA
Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in multiple offices for an associate in our Litigation Department who will work on construction matters only. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of construction law experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Strong litigation skills representing construction related entities required.
- Experience in prosecuting and defending construction claims involving contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, owners and developers preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
Visual Acuity
- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
