Description

The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Bar Back. 


Bar backs are responsible for assisting Bartenders to ensure they have everything they need to serve customers efficiently. Duties include replacing kegs, restocking bars, and other supplies needed to make drinks, and maintaining a clean dining space throughout all events.

Major Responsibilities:

• Setting up assigned bar location, with all ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies. Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Assisting Bartenders with their needs as directed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area throughout the shift
• Completing all opening and closing side work.
• Assist management in keeping the bar, storage areas, and other areas in clean and organized condition.
• Stocking all coolers, storage areas, and service stations as directed, emptying all trash and boxes from the bar and other food & beverage areas throughout the shift.
• Other duties as directed

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• TIPs certified preferred - must attend certification training after hire if not certified.
• Should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse the building including multiple floors.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.

About the Marquee Club Presented by Lexus
The Marquee Club Presented by Lexus is the Fox Theatre’s premium club space open to Club Level seat holders or annual Members only. Adjacent to the theatre, the Moroccan and Middle Eastern-style club is 10,000 square feet of luxury space that includes five premium bars; three rooftop environments, including the climate-controlled Conservatory, patio covered Arcade Terrace and the outdoor Rooftop Terrace. Open only during public events at the Fox Theatre, the Marquee Club offers a premium pre-show through post-show experience with benefits including early entry, private restrooms, 2 alcoholic beverages per event, pre-show food, onsite activations during select events, and more.  Additional amenities include priority pre-sale ticketing notifications, concierge guest services and self-parking access to an adjacent lot for some membership levels.
