The historic Fox Theatre in midtown Atlanta, GA, is seeking a qualified candidate for Marketing Manager.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager in executing marketing plans for all Fox concerts, entertainment events, community events, private events and beyond. This position will oversee day-to-day management of all content management systems including email, social, web, and digital. The Marketing Manager will support with activating strategy to increase event sales and build awareness and equity into the brand.
Major Responsibilities:
- With the support of the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager will plan, develop, and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Fox Theatre events and special programs, ensuring all campaigns are supported by available budgets and aligned to the strategic plan to increase sales;
- Produce, schedule, and optimize all Fox email marketing campaigns for live events, private events, and organizational newsletters;
- Manage live event support via day-to-day website and social content calendars with the support of the Marketing Coordinator and collaboration with Sr. Marketing Manager;
- Create project timelines to ensure projects timely project completion (deadlines);
- Work closely with Senior Marketing Manager and Creative Manager to procure approval on all branded sales material needed for web, digital, social, or print advertising;
- Utilize analytics tools to measure and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting while also providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization;
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing a brand’s social voice and content calendar across multiple social platforms;
- Project management experience and basic knowledge of graphic design;
- Proven experience with Content Management Systems and Social Analytics tools;
- Demonstrated knowledge of organic and paid social media, Live Event Marketing and Promotion;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Marketing and/or sports entertainment;
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic photography and videography;
- Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro and basic HTML;
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising/Marketing, or Sports and Entertainment Venue Management;
- Minimum 4-6 years experience as a Marketing Manager or demonstrated knowledge in a comparable position.
Physical Location Requirements:
- Much of this position requires the employee to be physically on-site to perform their required duties;
- Remote work may or may not be permissible;
- Off-site requirements include but are not limited to traveling for education and training, site visits, meetings, and warehouse oversight.
Special Requirements:
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as requested.
