Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
-Meet with brides/grooms & other event hosts for planning
- Coordinate and supervise banquet staff during events
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Ensure all tables are properly set with linens, silverware, glassware, and other necessary items
- Oversee the serving of food and beverages to guests
- Monitor the quality of food presentation and service
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Train and mentor banquet staff members
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet or event management is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
