What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Manager position at Fox Valley Metro Police Department?
The Administrative Manager is a non-sworn, management/ supervisory position responsible for the supervision of the Service and Support Bureau and the Clerical Division personnel. This position also acts as a confidential assistant to the Chief of Police. Work involves performing administrative tasks for the Chief of Police and the Police Captain. Work requires the exercise of initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in handling various duties. Work is performed under general supervision of the Chief of Police. This position reports to the Chief of Police, Captain of Police and is exempt from FLSA. This position currently has direct oversight of the two, full-time police clerks.
