Logistics Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the shipping and receiving of company and customer goods and supplies.
- Arrange carrier pick-ups according to customer purchase orders and shipping instructions.
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials and report defective materials or issues to the department manager.
- Ensure the work area and equipment are clean, orderly, and safe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly adapt to custom software platforms
- Accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Maintain a basic understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly adapt to custom software platforms.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Relevant experience in shipping and receiving is preferred
