Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements.
- Calibrate and verify precision test and measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE), including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, surge generators, LISNs, CDNs, and low-level DC to RF devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of calibration and repair activities.
- Develop procedures and recommend standards to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate in a team environment while delivering tasks efficiently and with the highest quality.
- Provide on-site support to local accounts with occasional overnight travel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Critical thinking and customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of RF/EMC testing (preferred) and metrology concepts.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and AC/DC theory.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Fluke MetCal is a plus.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience; formal PMEL training is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
