Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic student services team. The BCBA will play a critical role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), emotional and behavioral challenges, and other developmental disabilities by designing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based behavioral interventions. This position requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote positive student outcomes and enhance the educational experience for students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Behavioral Assessment & Intervention:
oConduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students demonstrating challenging behaviors.
oDevelop and implement individualized, data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
oUtilize evidence-based strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address behavior concerns and promote skill acquisition.
Collaboration & Consultation:
oWork closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure the consistent application of behavior interventions across all environments.
oProvide training and coaching for teachers and paraprofessionals on behavior management strategies and effective classroom practices.
oParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, to contribute behavioral insights and support students' overall educational goals.
Data Collection & Analysis:
oCollect, analyze, and interpret behavior data to monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
oModify interventions as necessary based on ongoing data collection and student progress.
oPrepare regular reports for parents, staff, and administrators to track student progress and document outcomes.
