Primary Function: The Senior Application Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of designated computer applications. This includes working with end users to resolve issues, as well as developing and implementing new applications where applicable. Responsibilities also include monitoring 3rd party providers/vendors (i.e., SLA & other monitoring tools). In conjunction with the rest of the Technology team, this position will contribute to the Company’s bottom line by improving efficiencies through help desk tickets and supporting development as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Install and maintain computer applications. Work with end users to resolve issues.
- Document application processes and procedures. Stay up to date on new technologies and applications.
- Responsible for technical support of complex systems and procedures in a business unit.
- Ensure testing activities within given systems are being executed according to test plan.
- Provide mentoring / training to team members.
- Create, modify, or suspend user accounts by request of Business Lead.
- Respond to user requests for assistance with system functionality.
- Submit issues to appropriate vendors that are outside the scope of local IT.
- Follow all IT procedures as directed by Management (Change Control, IT Governance, etc.).
- Working with the various vendors of systems (Autosave, Maximo and SAP), install and maintain systems, apply patches, install updates, coordinate with vendors on releases.
- Design, develop and configure SAP solutions, including custom reports, interfaces, and conversions to meet business needs.
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts as needed.
- Understanding of SAP ERP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP).
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SAP systems.
- SAP S/4HANA experience. Experience with SAP Fiori or other user experience technologies.
- MES (Manufacturing Execution System) experience with Siemens, Rockwell or any other is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry standard technical certifications or equivalent field experience may substitute.
- 5 years proven application support experience.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications.
- Experience and proficient level of knowledge with Windows Operating System and Server Operations
- Knowledge of manufacturing PLCs and HMI systems is a plus.

- Knowledge of manufacturing PLCs and HMI systems is a plus.
