Job Title: Surface Mount Technology Operator
San Jose, CA
About the job:
FULL-TIME/TEMPORARY (POSSIBILITY FOR PERMANENT)
JOB FUNCTION: As a Surface Mount Equipment Operator you will be responsible for loading materials for production, adjusting machine speeds during production and inspecting the objects produced.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of1-2 years of experience operating SMT equipment in face paced environment
LANGUAGE: English proficiency is required, Mandarin proficiency is a plus
SKILLS:
· Knowledge of ISO 9001, ESD, SPC, IPC-A-610
· Read and comprehend process documentation including bills of materials and assembly drawings
· Great verbal and written communication skills
· Component identification ability
· Well organized with the ability to keep count of parts
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines
· Setup and operation of automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers
· Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens
· Perform manual component placement and inspection
· Perform detailed quality inspection of PCB’s
· Perform routine machine maintenance
· Operate Hitachi, ASM, GSM, MPM, DEK machines, training is provided
