We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to assist in leading and managing a large-scale Information Technology (IT) program supporting the IT infrastructure, networks, Audio/Visual (A/V) services, photo services, telecommunications services, and all associated services at multiple government sites while utilizing the ITIL best practices framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful performance of the program. The role requires a deep understanding of managing, developing, and implementing IT programs, along with meeting cost, technical, and schedule objectives while ensuring progress and status are effectively tracked and reported.
Job Description
- Lead and manage all aspects of the IT Cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with program objectives and requirements.
- Maintain the IT infrastructure in a manner compliant with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance.
- Maintain the NEC LAN and ensure its management systems are compliant with all relevant IAVAs.
- Conduct weekly security scans of all networked equipment using the current approved network scanning tool and remediate vulnerabilities
- Review the current approved end-point security compliance scanning tool provided reports and remediate identified vulnerabilities, as required.
- Track Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance.
- Create and submit appropriate security related reports such as intrusion, virus infection incidents, FISMA, and others as requested by the Government.
- Create POA&Ms for identified vulnerabilities.
- Continuously update progress on POA&Ms.
- Report NEC security compliance to higher level authorities and/or reporting structures.
- Develop, implement, and control comprehensive program management plans and strategies to meet program goals.
- Coordinate and manage program staff and resources to ensure optimal program execution and that technical, schedule, and cost goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with program requirements while providing high-quality deliverables.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to program staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing a DoD program similar in scope and complexity
- An ITIL Intermediate Level Certification.
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III Certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC or CCISO).
- Strong experience in controlling and overseeing cybersecurity program execution, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
- Experience managing and overseeing staff, including identifying and implementing staffing solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and resolve issues proactively and make decisions that align with the program's objectives and client expectations.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligiblity required.
Desired Experience/Certifications
- Relevant technical BS degree
- Experience managing and using DoD cybersecurity tools
