What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Specialist position at Foxmark?
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for all aspects of the physical graphic production of signs, including preparing substrates and applying vinyl. They are also responsible for the quality control of all signs produced. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in the sign industry. However, with significant experience in carpentry, assembly, or manufacturing, we will train someone with enough skills and the right attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Weeding, pre-masking, fabrication, assembly, applying vinyl, mounting, cutting, painting, shipping, etc.
- Installation duties include applying window graphics, wall graphics, vehicle graphics, dimensional letters, and various aluminum/metal/wood/PVC and acrylic signs, etc.
- Clean and organize work area daily
- Good Painting and measurement skills
- Perform quality control checks on finished goods
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must pass a background check
- Applicant must be able to climb a ladder and lift 70 lbs.
- Know how to operate a forklift safely.
- Must have a smartphone and knowledge of mobile apps
Experience in the following is a plus but not mandatory:
- Experience fabricating and installing signage and graphics is highly desired.
- Knowledge of sign / graphic industry substrates, media, and products.
