Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

Under the supervision of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, the incumbent oversees and assists with daily responsibilities of the Housekeeping front line personnel. Must possess proven leadership ability necessary to provide general guidance to subordinate personnel and develop short term developmental goals. Must possess basic math skills necessary for conducting inventories. Must possess proven customer service techniques and displays a high degree of interpersonal skills to ensure total guest satisfaction. High School diploma or GED with one (1) to two (2) years of hotel housekeeping or related experience. Required to stand and walk 95% of the time. Required to bend or kneel 5% of the time while performing room inspections and to assist with cleaning using commercial cleaning agents. Requires pushing a cleaning cart weighing over 200 pounds and operating vacuums. Must be able to push or lift approximately 20-25lbs of furniture, equipment, trash and linens.
