FPW Media, a rapidly growing creative studio in Springfield, Oregon, is seeking a Senior Marketing Account Manager . We handle all our clients' marketing needs in-house, with services including photography, video production, graphic design, web design, and branding. Our three integrated divisions—Brand, Films, and Merch—ensure quality, consistency, and quick turnarounds.

The Senior Marketing Account Manager is responsible for independently creating, planning, managing, and executing projects for assigned clients and company stakeholders, while fostering strong client relationships to retain and grow business. This is a client-facing role that makes decisions of significant authority under the direction of the Director of Client Services including but not limited to art direction, strategic direction and creative direction. A Senior Account Manager may contribute to, review, and / or independently complete client-related tasks as needed. This role will assist with the management and growth of the Account Management team and work with the team to retain and grow existing accounts while identifying and developing prospective accounts.

This position is a full-time onsite position. We do not offer hybrid or remote work at this time.

Education and Prior Experience Expectations :

  • At least four years of related marketing experience required, 5 preferred.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, which may include Marketing, Business, Communications, or Public Relations, is preferred.
  • Probationary Period :

    Upon hire, the Senior Marketing Account Manager will complete a probationary period of up to 6 months before gaining full capabilities like art approval and strategic direction. This period may be adjusted at the discretion of the Director of Client Services.

    Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Independently determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Establish project roadmaps and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • Independently ensure that projects are completed according to specifications (quality, budget, time).
  • Obtain new clients and grow existing client accounts.
  • Actively engage in sales activities put forth by the Leadership Team.
  • Utilize existing and identify new software and tools to assist with the project management process.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members according to Company Policy and ensure that projects are completed according to specifications.
  • Independently estimate the resources needed to accomplish objectives, both internal and external.
  • Independently prepare, implement, and manage campaign and project budgets.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders about (not limited to) strategy, adjustments, risks, and progress.
  • Actively identify client revenue growth opportunities.
  • Navigate and respond to requests from various internal and external stakeholders, addressing questions and concerns as they arise.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve conflict and problems both internally and externally as they arise, elevating to leadership when necessary.
  • Contributes to creative direction and thought-leading exercises, conducting trend analysis and consumer behavior studies.
  • Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout projects.
  • Independently develop and execute media plans.
  • Create and interpret a variety of reports including campaign metrics and analytics.
  • Conduct, organize and analyze market research to ensure a deep understanding of assigned client(s) industry opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain client and vendor relationships.
  • Support the Director of Client Services in the management of the Account Management team.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Leadership Expectations

  • This position acts as a mentor to the Account Management team.
  • Successfully maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Utilize strong supervisory and leadership skills to set clear expectations with stakeholders, and peers.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team while also maintaining a "player-coach" role; act as a mentor to foster career growth in the Account Management Team.
  • Contribute to, develop and / or present new or modified policies and procedures that will accelerate FPW’s structured growth.
  • Serve as a resource for Account Managers by addressing questions regarding processes, best practices, and client relations.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental leadership to foster positive and productive internal relationships.
  • Assist the Director of Client Services with onboarding efforts, including training new Associate and Mid-Level Account Managers, participating in interviews as required, and offering input on hiring decisions.
  • Support the Account Management team with outreach efforts and opportunities for client revenue growth.
  • Regularly monitor HubSpot and assist Account Managers with HubSpot-related inquiries.

  • Computer Literacy : Efficiently use computer-based tools; proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suites or related software.
  • Supervision Responsibilities

  • May involve supervision of 1-5 Employees
  • Travel Expectations

  • Up to 45% travel is required semi-frequently to client work sites.
  • Physical Requirements :

    Work to be conducted primarily in office and at a client location. This position requires work during the regular work week, during normal business hours. This position will require some lifting (up to 20 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing and / or walking.
