How will you make a difference as a Contract Attorney at Fragomen?
- Develop an expert-level understanding of your client base and the industries you support as well as the firms practice areas and services provided.
- Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations. Identify and solve escalations and areas of underperformance.
- Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
- Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
- Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
- Work with client global mobility personnel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies for nonimmigrant and immigrant foreign national employees.
- Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents.
- Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
- Proactively communicate with clients, within SLAs / team protocols and with a precise, efficient, thoughtful, and organized response.
- Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects.
- Regularly seek out and implement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization with processes, products, or services.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and effectively implement guidance and direction offered by supervisors and experienced colleagues.
- Use firm technology accurately and in line with team and client protocols, ensuring accurate and complete data is entered.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and firmwide activities.
- Ensure self and team follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance.

Compensation :
The hourly pay range for this role takes into account many factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individuals skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted.
A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current hourly pay range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is : $65 - $75 / hr.
