Summary:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing and tracking incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and handling discrepancies or damages. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure timely receipt and proper handling of goods. The Materials Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining records, organizing documentation, and supporting inventory management activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Material Coordination:
- Track and monitor all incoming shipments.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to maintain stock.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and according to company policies.
Documentation and Filing:
- Create documentation files.
- Organize and file documents.
- Scan and digitize documents and ensure records are up to date.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials.
- Coordinate flow of materials and communicate receipt to all necessary parties.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Video Spokesperson:
- Charismatic and professional individual that is comfortable in front of the camera.
- Present company messages in clear, positive manner.
Qualification.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or damages.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, Teams).
- Dependable, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods of time.
· Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
