The Material Coordinator will be responsible for managing plant inventory (including cycle counts), administering payments for plant/trucking related expenses, processing shipments/deliveries, supporting the quality lab and processing/filing other administrative duties.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- PGI’ing orders, managing assigned paperwork including processing/filing, collecting weekly/monthly inspections, and uploading documents to our management system
- Administering cycle counts and following up with inventory needs/discrepancies
- Facilitating PO’s, managing invoices and working with vendors to ensure purchasing agreements are met at the plant level (including AVETTA compliance, promptly processioning invoices)
- Assisting in lab quality testing and administrative duties
- Answering phones, managing contractors in/out, coordination with corporate IT, payroll support, coordinating LMS training, coordinate plant managers meetings and other functions as assigned by the plant manager
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years administrative experience in a manufacturing, customer service and/or warehouse environment
- Must have the ability to lift, carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs in frequently. This role also requires standing, squatting, reaching and walking between 8 - 12 hours per shift.
- Good verbal & written skills
- Must be proficient with a computer with direct knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Teams.
- Knowledge with SAP is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
