**Overview**
The FRAM® Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance of our facility, encompassing the physical plant, exterior and interior support equipment, and production machinery.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee all maintenance activities within our filter assembly plant. This individual will plan and direct maintenance functions, ensuring maximum production equipment uptime while meeting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external maintenance functions to optimize production equipment availability.
- Predict and correct problems in a planned and organized manner to minimize downtime.
- Develop and propose new design concepts incorporating the latest technology to improve production processes.
- Oversee apprentices, journeymen, and the apprenticeship program to ensure alignment with departmental needs.
- Provide specialty and safety items to protect employees and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assure the availability of qualified staff by assisting in hiring, developing, and motivating subordinates.
- Maintain efficient security for plant operations and communicate effectively with management to improve efficiencies.
- Establish work-flow assignments and follow up on daily and weekend performance to ensure effectiveness.
- Evaluate systems and procedures to develop predictive maintenance cost reduction strategies.
- Track current state, determine goals, and plan, coordinate, and execute strategic Capital Expenditure projects.
- Support the Environmental and Safety Department to improve conditions within the facility.
- Analyze equipment and supplies necessary to maintain and operate plant and powerhouse equipment, and collaborate with contractors and engineers to prepare cost estimates.
- Train and maintain staff to meet facility needs, maintain plant engineering standards, and comply with regulations.
- Daily contact with Production Department Managers, Operations Managers, and other departments regarding ongoing maintenance issues.
