You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Tooling Engineering Supervisor in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the IBR Tooling Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. The ideal Tooling Engineering Supervisor candidate must have a desire to work in a fast-paced product development team where our primary customer is our Field Operations group who must successfully implement our products at customer sites. Typical applications are remote controlled machining, welding, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and surface improvement tools. We start with a concept and follow it through fabrication, testing, and its real-world usage with an expectation of first time Safety, Quality, and Performance. Desired experience and skills include:
- Familiar with nuclear power customers and the working environment
- Proven track record developing complete and creative solutions to customer needs
- Preparing detailed budgets and schedules in support of business development proposals and tracking contracted work scopes
- Experience developing multi-axis tools with customer control systems
- Comfortable with inter-disciplinary system designs combining mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical hardware and software
- Equipment / process troubleshooting and field experience at customer sites
- Enjoy working with a team of diverse personalities and able to ensure a reasonable work-life balance

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $112,000 - $152,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
