Frame’s Pest & Wildlife Control is a locally owned and third-generation family operated business for over 50 years. We service Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan with customized pest and wildlife management systems.
As a local, family owned company, we’ve grown to become the largest in Northwest Ohio. All of our technicians are licensed, insured, and highly trained. We provide the most up-to-date services proven to eliminate pests such as termites, ants, wasps, and bed bugs. Although we may be considered to be a small company, we can handle it all as a big family!
Summary:
We are seeking a full time Pest Control Technician to join the Frame’s Family! The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently, possess the ability to problem solve effectively, and have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Job Type: Full Time (8am-5pm) and some weekends during our busy season.
Responsibilities:
Customer Communication and Support:
- Answer customer and technician phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing any concerns or questions related to pest control services.
- Provide accurate information regarding services, pricing, and scheduling to both current and potential customers.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are recorded accurately in the system for future reference and follow-up.
Scheduling and Route Management:
- Manage customer scheduling efficiently using the designated software tools, ensuring that appointments are booked promptly and technician routes are optimized.
- Support technicians by organizing their daily work schedules and adjusting routes as necessary to meet service demands and customer needs.
- Take the lead in rescheduling appointments during periods of high demand or technician availability changes.
Sales of Pest Control Services:
- Assist customers in understanding the value of both residential and commercial pest control services.
- Use sales techniques to upsell or cross-sell additional services based on customer needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for pest control services to support company growth.
Documentation and Record Management:
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes on customer accounts, ensuring that all communications, service records, and technical notes are up to date and accessible.
- Handle confidential customer and company information with the highest level of discretion and organization.
Team and Technician Support:
- Assist with various office duties, including making outbound calls, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for field technicians, supporting them in managing their schedules, customer interactions, and any issues that arise during service.
- Collaborate with the technician team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):(KPIs will be defined based on company goals and job performance metrics. Example areas include:)
- Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Percentage of satisfied customers based on follow-up surveys.
- Appointment Scheduling Efficiency: Percentage of appointments scheduled and completed on time.
- Sales Conversion Rate: Percentage of phone calls that result in confirmed sales or service upgrades.
- Technician Schedule Optimization: Number of technician routes optimized for efficiency and time management.
- Documentation Accuracy: Accuracy and completeness of account records and service notes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior pest control experience necessary.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work some Saturdays during the busy season (determined as a 10-week period).
- Ability to read and understand technical material related to pest control services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express oneself professionally.
- Must have passed the Core and General ODA Licensing Tests.
- Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality and attention to detail.
