Role Overview:
Reporting into the Senior Retail Coordinator and VP of Sales, Women’s - the Retail Coordinator will be executing merchandising strategies by aligning and maintaining visual displays in department store accounts for both women’s and men’s divisions. This role will also contribute to the profitability of the account with merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts. Daily, weekly, and monthly recaps will be submitted to all partners and is responsible for communicating key information that is vital to the success of each account. Travel to regional states is required on a weekly/monthly basis, and this person should maintain flexibility with their schedules.
Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising
- Provide and execute general department store visual support such as filling in back stock, organizing stockroom, updating and refreshing both denim and rtw displays, switching out mannequin looks, and updating focus table/racks, etc.
- Maintain and form relationships with major’s department store visual leads.
- Partner with WC Senior Retail Coordinator to ensure that VM and seasonal floor set refreshes per merchandising.
- Partner with WC Senior Retail Coordinator on creating visual guideline packets and seasonal visual standards, curated by account based on buys.
- Partner with department store visual leads to ensure best floor placement for FRAME, along like/competitive brands. Negotiate floor moves and fixtures adds/updates as necessary.
- Responsible for Hosting Seasonal Product Knowledge Seminars/Conclaves/Summits.
In-Store Support
- Continuously support customers and purchases when in-store.
- Coordinate and plan seasonal/store specific sell days/trunkshows/events, etc.
- Implement and partner on store selling initiatives to help drive topline business.
- Collect and provide competitive feedback to relevant AE and VP on comp selling, category wins/misses/opportunities, and creative ways to drive business.
- Provide inventory needs and analysis to respective AE/VP.
- Collect and reports back pertinent In-Store information (i.e. changes happening in the store such as floor moves, brands entering/exiting, brands downsizing/moving floors and/or floor spaces, manager’s new roles/promotions, conversations with buyers on the floor, etc.).
Reporting, Recapping, & Shipments
- Consistently communicate and provide feedback to respective AE/VPs.
- Responsible for recapping store visits and product knowledge seminars in a timely and detailed manner.
- Provides EOD touch base recaps detailing day/progress in store PK.
- Monitors and track shipments.
- Notifies Doors as to when to expect new goods.
- Receives and merchandises new deliveries.
- Provides product feedback received on a store level (fit call outs, production call outs, hits, misses, etc.).
- Reports back notes to the NYC Sales Team concerning new fits/washes/fabrics.
- Analyzes Selling Reports on a by Door Level (suggests r/o’s, etc. to rep.).
