Job Overview
Private country club is seeking multiple dedicated Grounds Maintenance Workers to join our team. Retirees and those that would like to work mornings are welcome to apply. Duties
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including mowing and trimming around the golf course and clubhouse surrounds.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various gardening tasks including edging, weeding, and mulching along with weeding and raking sand bunkers.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris, litter, and other obstructions.
- Assist the senior staff in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques and plant care practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
- Full-time employees are guaranteed at least 45 hours each week with anything over 40 hours paid at time and one half.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions while working independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
- Must be willing to work early in the morning ( 6 a.m. during the week and at 5 a.m. on weekends and during tournaments).
- A CORI and SORI check will need to be performed by the club prior to the start of employment.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
