What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position at Franchise Search?
Our client, with over 1500 locations, seeks a talented COO to lead excellence in operations across the franchise system, company owned locations, and training and operations support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- This Chief Operating Officer will have complete responsibility for the full operational success of the company, including 1000 franchise locations and hundreds of company owned units, all operations support and training functions, some Area Developers and Canadian locations
- Direct reports include field operations (currently 8 Regional Directors and 7 Area Developers, future state consolidates this under a President of Franchise Operations), VP Operations Services, VP Operational Excellence (SME, special projects, longstanding relationships in the field), and President of Company Stores
- Must be currently or have managed several hundred franchise locations
- Must have experience managing company owned locations
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, motivate, hold accountable, and positively influence franchise partners to achieve targeted financial and operational results
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to articulate specific contributions that have resulted in financial success or growth
- Project Management leadership, with demonstrated ability to lead implementation of complex, long term projects and programs
- Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems, and communicate clearly
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams
- Relocation to Texas mandatory
