Base Salary $100,000 to $110,000 Incentives & Bonus ($122,000 to $134,200 total earning potential based on performance)

Your Impact on Team Sidekick

Step into a pivotal role as Controller at Franchise Sidekick, where you'll oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and contribute directly to the company's strategic success. Collaborating closely with the COO and leadership team, you'll manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while also overseeing HR compliance, benefits administration, and other key HR tasks. In addition, you'll play an active role in assessing acquisition opportunities to enhance Sidekick's growth and services. If you're passionate about building robust financial processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving operational excellence, this is the perfect opportunity to make an impact. In this role, you will work on :

Financial Management and Reporting (40%) Oversee Financial Reporting : Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports to the COO and Leadership Team, providing actionable insights into company performance. Manage finance and budget KPIs. Manage Tax Filings and Planning : Participate in tax preparation, filings, and compliance and provide strategic tax planning to optimize the company's financial position. Accounting Tasks and Cash Flow Management : Manage invoicing, A / R, A / P, bookkeeping & cash flow to ensure financial stability and support initiatives. Ensure Compliance : Maintain compliance with tax requirements, accounting standards, and other financial regulations. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Strategic Advisement (25%) Lead Budgeting Process : Collaborate with the COO and department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets that align with strategic objectives. Provide Forecasts : Deliver quarterly and annual financial forecasts, identifying trends and risks to enable proactive decision-making. Support Strategic Growth : Advise and participate in assessing acquisition opportunities and financial integrations that align with Sidekick's growth strategy. HR Compliance and Administration (20%) Oversee HR Compliance : Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and reporting requirements. Benefits Administration : Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings. Support Employee Onboarding and Documentation : Oversee payroll processes, maintain employee records, and support new hire onboarding as needed. Process Optimization and Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%) Establish Internal Controls : Design and implement financial and operational controls to safeguard assets and enhance efficiency. Streamline Processes : Identify opportunities to optimize workflows across financial and HR operations. Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with the COO and other leaders to align financial and operational practices with business goals.
