Under the general direction of an Administrator I on the Classification and Hiring Team, the incumbent provides expert consultative services to Classification and Hiring Unit’s (C&H) management, along with FTB’s management, while leading a team of analysts performing varied and complex work on assignments related to classification and compensation. The incumbent is responsible for resolving the most complex and sensitive personnel issues; relating to enterprise-wide projects with an impact on classification and hiring; the development of specific departmental procedures and guidelines as they relate to complex classification and hiring matters and facilitating implementation of guidelines to the team and communication to FTB’s enterprise. The incumbent will demonstrate a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, timely, and exceeds our customer’s expectations. The incumbent may also receive guidance and assignments from other Administrator I’s or II within C&H.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
