Established in 2019, Domaine Lumineux pays homage to Francis Ford Coppola’s deep fascination with science and honors the profound interplay between light and wine. The Domaine Lumineux vineyard is located in the renowned Dundee Hills in the northern part of the Willamette Valley. Pinot Noir was first planted in the Dundee Hills in 1965, which today is considered one of the premier Pinot Noir growing regions in the world. Domaine Lumineux produces award-winning wines made exclusively from fruit grown on our 42-acre, LIVE Certified sustainable vineyard. The new Domaine Lumineux Tasting Room will be opening in Downtown Newberg, Oregon early 2024.
Job Summary: Domaine Lumineux seeks energetic and enthusiastic candidates for variable positions within our Hospitality department. The primary functions of these positions are to promote the sales of wine and non-wine merchandise, enhance The Family Coppola’s company image and provide exceptional customer service, while cultivating a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
70% Sales and Service:
- Host experiences that educate guests on history, brands, vineyards, winemaking, and wines, ultimately leading to an engaging experience that creates brand loyalty, and wine sales.
- Create a memorable experience for all guests who enter the property through a high standard of customer service.
- Manage high volume wine and merchandise transactions.
- Build relationships with guests to maximize the sale of wine, merchandise and winery tours and experiences.
- Engage in conversations with guests and provide them with a genuine and personable experience.
- Create opportunities to sell other events, services and experiences offered on the property.
- Present the benefits of the Academy program to guests, contributing to the growth of the wine club and obtaining goals.
- Work as a team with other associates to reach daily and monthly sales targets.
- Conduct various levels of tours including daily public tours, trade/VIP tours, pre-arranged group tours, and vineyard tours.
- Manage multiple groups at a time, keeping track of their tasting progress, and anticipating their needs.
- Monitor guests for intoxication and adhere to OLCC guidelines.
- Facilitate shipping to customers and meet all compliance and regulatory requirements of wine shipments.
30% Daily Operations:
- Ensure smooth daily operations; including effective and appropriate communication, successfully managing traffic flow throughout the day, and overseeing that guests are being engaged and entertained.
- Process transactions, stock wine, and assist guests with purchases.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Accurately process transactions on register system and properly handle cash.
- Follow all safety practices, trainings and proactively mitigate risks for both employees and guests.
- Maintain clean and organized environment and take part in housekeeping efforts.
- Prepare various food items boards to company standards and adhere to food safety guidelines.
- Support and embrace company policy.
- Pack and prepare member wine allocations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to two years of retail, customer service or tasting room experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Customer Service focused with a sincere desire to create a memorable guest experience.
- Strong sales background.

- OLCC certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Food Handlers certification required.
