Purpose Statement
Extra-curricular activities are a vital extension of the student experience. As the Head Dance Coach, you will lead, inspire, and teach students dance-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both in and outside of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute dance routines, practices, and performances.
- Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique and performance.
- Lead the development of choreography and manage team dynamics.
- Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
- Ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances.
