The Front Office Supervisor position plays a key role in helping our guests create memories that will last a lifetime. This person must be energetic, upbeat, outgoing, and willing to lead our Francis Marion staff by example. The Front Office supervisor is primarily responsible for handling all guest interactions and going beyond to exceed guest requests. This position is responsible for checking in and out guests of the hotel while also providing information about hotel services, features, and room amenities. This supervisor is responsible for all guest service agent duties as well as; scheduling, inventories, training new staff to four diamond levels, resolving customer challenges, and aiding in all departments of the Francis Marion Hotel.
Efficient and friendly check in and out of guests of the Francis Marion while maintaining Four- Diamond standards.
Act as the hotel’s central source of information, providing it to inquiring guests. This knowledge must extend from hotel statistics to local attractions and directions.
Resolve customer complaints and taking ownership of guest service shortfalls to recover our guests in accordance with standards of the hotel.
Completing the scheduling of the Front Office Department weekly.
Taking inventory of guest and office supplies and doing orders monthly.
Training new staff on all standards of the property and exceeding 4 diamond standards.
Report all safety hazards and suspicious person or activities to Security.
Know all safety and emergency procedures and your role in assisting during these times.
Attend all monthly and required hotel meetings.
Experience in a Four-Diamond quality organization is preferred but not necessary.
Knowledge in property management systems is a highly desirable.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
Previous customer service experience in a high volume setting is also preferred, with the ability to problem solve, and provide exceptional service.
