What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory Liaison Physician Practice position at Franciscan Health?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Oversee and direct assigned region on policies, processes, procedures, workflows specific to ambulatory patient access functions. Coordinate procedures with other departments.
Ensure Compliance with Ambulatory standards of performance. Determine compliance via audits and monitoring of productivity and quality reporting. Provide continuous education and training for all front office staff members.
Ability to define problem, collect and analyze data pertaining to PA workflow.
Evaluate process and procedures to provide recommendations and deploy strategies designed to solve the issues identified.
Prepare reports that summarize their findings and recommendations. Present data and analysis to Corporate Manager and Operations team as needed.
Supplement training for Operation new hires, both FTE and temporary on PA process after initial Revenue Cycle Educator training.
Assist with developing, coordinating, presenting and evaluating continued education for staff, based on needs assessments, QA monitors, and performance improvement initiatives.
Create education reports and distribute reports to specified management.
Assist with coordinating and administration of PA policies, procedures and workflows.
Assist our healthcare team to provide specific patient teaching appropriate to age specific population served.
Administer training on new processes/workflows.
Assist as necessary to coordinate resources for community education.
Meet with staff and Operation management teams to review errors and provide education to correct any areas of opportunity.
Assist with re-training schedule to enable employee to achieve skill level defined for position.
Part time position
This position is for the Western Region for FPN.
2 days a week ,8 hour shift and 1 day 4 hour day a week.
It will require to round in the supporting clinics that are assigned and also work from home for reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Associate's Degree or Certificate
Required High School Diploma/GED
3 years Provider practice setting, specifically billing, collections, customer service, or cash application Required
1 year Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Medical and Managed Care Contract terminology, and demonstrated knowledge of standard Revenue Cycle procedures. Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred
