Role Overview: As a Practice Liaison, you will be an essential part of our patient care team, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients at the front of the practice, coordinating follow-up appointments, answering phones, and assisting in creating a successful patient flow in the office. This role is crucial for maintaining the fluidity and efficiency of our office operations while supporting our patients throughout their treatment journey.

Core Responsibilities & Objectives

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing courteous and efficient assistance, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

Maintain open communication channels between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to address any concerns proactively and efficiently.

Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document provider and patient communications, calls, and touchpoints.

Monitor and respond to email messages, text messages, and portal messages. Manage incoming correspondence, mail, faxes, and package deliveries.

Register new patients, distribute necessary paperwork, communicate expectations of upcoming visits, and receive health information prior to arrival.

Handle incoming calls within the practice, providing courteous and efficient assistance to patients, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly

Check patients in and out, record notes for next visits, manage outgoing referrals, collect payments, and record payment information.

Manage patient and provider contact information, submit orders, referral letters, patient records, and transmit patient imaging or other record requisitions.

Requirements

Experience in medical, dental, or healthcare related field preferred.

Bilingual. Proficient in English and Spanish is preferred.
