WHAT YOU WILL DO
Collaborate with Franciscan Educators to create data, analyze and develop the training strategies and solutions.
Responsible for designing, managing and delivering clinical and non-clinical programs that will enhance expertise and promote health in the community.
Operationalize effective adult learning principles and the ability to effectively create classroom and online (web-based) educational curriculum, programming and materials to meet organizational needs.
Determine performance enhancement strategies in alignment with educational philosophy and needs of the organization.
Act as a resource for various departments in the areas of staff development and provide insight into educational needs and requirements.
Consult with organizational partners in the creation of education to meet the collaborating department’s goals.
Facilitate workshops and classes and demonstrates knowledge of adult learning.
Maintain equipment and supplies needed for courses.
Develop, build, assign and troubleshoot educational content in a Learning Management System
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree - Required
Master's Degree - Preferred
4 years Nursing in acute care setting - Required
2 years Educational or training related to healthcare - Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) - State license
Basic Life Support Instructor (BLSINST) - American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor (ACLSINS) - American Heart Association
