What Can You Expect:
- Cleaning & Maintenance Assists in the delivery, set-up, and cleaning for special functions.
- Catering Events & Meal Delivery Support Assists with catering events and meal delivery.
- Cleaning & Maintenance Ensures food item displays and signage are attractive, neat and orderly.
- Food Preparation Grills, deep fries and finishes cooking such as pizzas, as required.
- POS Transactions Handles cafeteria point of sale (POS) transactions correctly.
- Food Temperatures Maintains and records food temperatures.
- Cleaning & Maintenance Maintains the work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
- Safe Food Handling Techniques Practices safe food handling procedures according to standards.
- Food Assembly Performs cold food assembly such as the salad bar and grab and go foods, as required.
- Safe Food Serving Serves food according to food regulatory standards for temperature; ensures attractive presentation and appropriate portions.
- Cafeteria Set up & Stocking Sets up and stocks assigned serving areas in the cafeteria.
- Food Tray Delivery •Completes all steps related to passing of patient food trays in a timely, courteous manner using clean technique.
- Food Safety Maintains cleanliness and safety of all food storage and receiving areas. Stores potentially hazardous food correctly. Dates food properly.
- Food & Nutrition Transports or stores food safely, including covering, dating and labeling foods.
- Food Preparation Meets schedules and time requirements for food preparation.
- Food Serving Serves food according to food regulatory standards for temperature, in the correct portion and presented in an attractive manner.
Qualifications
- Preferred High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year healthcare, food service, cafeteria, restaurant Preferred
- Food Handler Certification - .

- Part-time.
