Job Description
This is a dynamic role where you will work closely with radiologists to prepare contrast material for diagnostic procedures. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in ensuring accurate patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contrast Material Preparation: Prepare contrast material intravenously or orally for Diagnostic Radiology procedures under the supervision of the radiologist.
- Documenting Patient Information: Document patient's clinical history on requisitions to provide clinical information for radiologist reporting.
- Patient Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of information and treat all patients with respect and compassion to provide high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
- Exam Room Preparation: Stock and prepare the exam room and equipment for patients according to established protocols, ensuring a clean and professional environment.
- Clinical History Review: Consult with physicians and nursing personnel, reviewing patient charts regarding history and procedure, to provide a clinical history.
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiology is required. Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and a Radiology Technologist License (RADTECH) are highly preferred.
