WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
Gather, analyze and report to evaluate and improve services.
Monitor interpreting agencies; assess the performance of contracted interpreting agencies; resolve performance issues; verify interpreting invoices.
Create schedule to provide staffing for efficient operations.
Meet and interact with management, clinical staff and others for optimal service.
Maintain and create updates to department policies and procedures.
Supervise the work of others and manage the performance of individuals through feedback and recommendations.
Maintain and update information required to be recorded in both the electronic and paper phone books.
Participate in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
Coordinate staffing schedule to provide volume and patient-specific need-based staffing; adapt schedule to adjust for staff shortages ensuring adequate staffing for quality patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED required
One year experience in staff supervision is required
1-3 years’ customer service preferred
Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
Coordinate teams and delegate work.
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Manage conflict and tactfully handle complaints and difficult situations.
Prioritize and delegate tasks.
Supervisory and team leadership skills, including coaching, engaging and developing coworkers.
Work independently with minimal supervision
