Guest Room Services Supervisor - Hyatt Place | Hyatt House - Fishers, IN

The Hyatt Place | Hyatt House - Fishers is searching for a reliable, friendly and outgoing individual to fill the role Guest Room Supervisor.

This position is responsible for inspecting the guestrooms and public areas to ensure that they meet standards of cleanliness, communicating needs or errors to Housekeeping staff. Inspect guestrooms for maintenance repairs. Follow through on guest complaints and requests regarding room services and ensure the appropriate follow-up with guests. Communicate with alternate shift housekeepers of rooms to be cleaned and special requests. Complete all other duties assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, stairwells and elevators (vacuum/carpet exaction).
• Support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms as needed
• Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Minimum 6 months previous housekeeping experience required.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Bilingual a plus
