What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Nursing Operating Room position at Franciscan Health?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Prepare, supervisor and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.
- Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.
- Complete performance appraisal of staff members.
- Performs timely and effective service recovery to address patient/family complaints and grievances.
- Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
- Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.
- Identifies oncoming shift’s staffing needs and initiates action that assists in procuring adequate levels of staffing within their control.
- Remains current in and compliant with new developments and technology in areas of responsibility including documentation, medication administration, and monitoring systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSN required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- 3 years of Nursing experience required
